With family divided throughout the world, Rohan lives between four continents. Rohan started traveling from a very young age where he became fascinated in documentary photojournalism and the work of magnum photographers like H.R Bresson.P.Pellegrin, S. Salgado and Raghu Rai. Touched by the numerous social and humanitarian problems around the world, he picked up a used camera with his last savings and started working on his first big photoreportage about exposing illegal organ trade in South Asia which was later exhibited in various countries around the world which gained him recognition on international platform. Rohan specialises in environmental and humanitarian issues and has worked by now in over twenty countries. He still likes to use film and old rangefinders for his best and selected work. His work include stories that are extremely difficult to cover in some of the toughest, remote and most inaccessible parts in the world. Some of these stories include, high levelled anti human trafficking operations of interpol, ganglife on the streets of Nepal, diamond minings inside the very heart of Myanmar and melting glaciers deep inside the Tibetan Himalayas. Since of 2013 Rohan is officially represented by California based Zumapress.
