One tour in Kosovo in 1999 and two combat tours in Iraq with the 3rd Armored Cavalry. I was wounded in action in Tal'Afar, Iraq on June 25, 2005. Several years ago, I taught myself photography, how to compose and visualize, with disposable camera. These days I use an EOS-1D Mark II N and I'm discovering that photojournalism is where I belong once the military is finally done with me. So far I've only had one photo published on the front cover the March 6, 2006 issue of The New Republic.
