Guided Free School students in traditional and eventually digital photography at the Elm St. community darkroom, perhaps dispel some cultural myths and help them through the tough years as teenagers growing up in the 21st century. Recently returned from Hainan Island, in the South China Sea where I learned about the Hainanese people, my ancestors.
