You mean cheap and convenient or truly excellent high-end facilities? What's your price? Places $100 and up are legion. Cheaper places, less so. I've stayed at the Hotel La Paz, a cheap Indian-run "family" hotel (that's Dubai code for no prostitutes or Russians allowed) in the Gold Souq area. Was about $35 a night in 2004. Super clean and really comfortable bed and gigantic window with amazing science fiction view of Dubai skyscrapers. Very small room, though, that's the trade-off. 3 star facilities in a 1 star sized room. Kind of like NY in this regard! I stayed there a 5 or 6 days and by the end was willing to pay more for a bigger room -- but they don't have any, all rooms are the same -- but for one night for you it's more than adequate. At that time they had high-speed internet in the lobby (which has a nice bar/cafe) and maybe by now they have it in the rooms.
