Western Kentucky University, School of Journalism and Broadcasting is seeking applicants to fill a Manager of Photojournalism Labs in its nationally recognized, ACEJMC-accredited photojournalism program. Anticipated start date is August 2007.

Responsibilities: &#226;&#8364;&#162; Supervising the photojournalism program&#226;&#8364;&#8482;s two Apple computer labs, wet darkroom and photography studio. &#226;&#8364;&#162; Assisting the Director of the Mountain Workshops, Western&#226;&#8364;&#8482;s annual photography, picture editing and multimedia workshops. &#226;&#8364;&#162; Coordinating exhibits for the School of Journalism and Broadcasting&#226;&#8364;&#8482;s gallery.

Qualifications: &#226;&#8364;&#162; Bachelor&#226;&#8364;&#8482;s Degree with an academic and professional background in photography. &#226;&#8364;&#162; Must have a visual background, Apple computer networking experience, excellent leadership qualities and organizational skills.

The School of Journalism and Broadcasting, designated a Kentucky Program of Distinction, is housed in an $18.5 million state-of-the-art building. The photojournalism program includes four full-time faculty and one staff member. Salary Grade: 108 Expected Minimum Salary: $32,712.00 annually.
