Starting to freelance in about 2months.. what to do?

Hello,

I just graduated as a graphic designer but I earn more money with weddingjournalism,.. In about 2 months I will start as a freelance photographer, I will work for 2 wedding studios.. But my thing is to travel around to documentary conflicts, nature disasters,...
I know its a very hard job for living..

To who else I can better ask then you all.. how to start working on a story to sell?
Where to get my first contacts (organisations,..)

What can you advice to me as a starting photojournalist?

you can have a view at my pbase gallery..

www.tompalmaers.com

soon my portfolio website will be online.. I put already the first page online at

www.comediebilzen.be/tomppa.htm

Thank you very much

Convert all your money to coins and find the nearest wishing well...

...wait, maybe that's why I'm broke now...I should have stuck with shooting stars.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. Best of luck to you!

The Michael Kamber post is a great one.
