Fixer/ translator in Mumbai needed

Hi,

I am looking for a fixer or translator in Mumbai, needed for a couple of days as soon as possible.
If anyone can help that would be fantastic.
Thanks, Helen.

What are looking to do in Mumbai? Unless it is something very sensitive or government- or military-related, it's unlikely you will need a fixer/translator in the traditional journalistic sense. English is widely spoken, and people are friendly and helpful. It's a city full of informal fixers--that's how India works.

Hi, I guess you must have finished your Mumbai trip. How was it? Preston, I disagree that you need a fixer only for sensitive or govt related stuff...A fixer makes a lot of difference if you are shooting in India....

But was Helen looking for just a tourist guide or someone for a shoot?

I completely agree with you Uday, Mumbai is certainly not an easy place to work, to use a tripod on external shoots you may need permits! Helen you should contact Subash or Zishaan, they are both LS members and great people.
best,
