[Lightstalkers] What visa? What occupation? http://www.lightstalkers.org/what-visa-what-occupation- An entire Lightstalkers thread via RSS/XML. en-us What visa? What occupation? After following a recent post following someone's question on the most suitable visa type for traveling and working in China, I am interested to hear how folks prefer to travel (all over). Questions were raised as to whether it was necessary, or counter productive to use a journalist visa if not a necessity... And if not, what to state as your occupation on your tourist visa. Is it a bad idea to state "photographer"? is this asking for trouble?... Is it a worse idea to lie??... Obviously it differs from country to country, but I thought it would be interesting to hear how various folks deal with visas the road.
