I know they seem to be the scanner of choice around here and from the load of reviews I've read they do seem to be the veritable bees-kneez. So a couple of questions... 1. can i butcher out the 35mm holder to get that painfully arty/documentary style full frame feel of my negs? 2. can i butcher out the 35mm holder to scan panoramic 35mm, like from an Xpan or my beloved Horizon Prefekt 202? 3. I'm gonna buy from ebay (probably) any known faults or eccentricities i should be asking about? 4. Anyone got one for sale? No, you'll have to scan it in 2 times, then join. A pain in the ass, the LS8000/LS9000 would do it in one, but thoses scanners are slower, mostly if you want to scan all of you negatives. 3.
