[Lightstalkers] using DHL/TNT for film http://www.lightstalkers.org/using-dhl-tnt-for-film01 An entire Lightstalkers thread via RSS/XML. en-us using DHL/TNT for film Afternoon all, Due to there being hardly any film stocks left in SA, I'm having to buy a bulk load here in BKK and ship it back. Has anyone had any experience with shipping film back using one of the major couriers? My worries are mainly to do with the xrays they use. Any feedback appreciated. Bangkok is where I get my film and they're often out of 120 Provia and or Tri X when I show up. Even a phone call in advance doesn't necessarily work. I only know of two places: Photo Hobby and the downstairs place in MBK. Photo Hobby is by far the best, but that's it! It's begining to feel like finding water in the desert. My main annoyance is that Portra is damn near impossible to get now, which is my main stock for all the fashion stuff I shoot. If you go on and ask them to order, he normally gets it in within 3 days Fri, 04 Apr 2008 03:46:22 +0000 http://www.lightstalkers.org/using-dhl-tnt-for-film01#118133
