To get to Tiraspol you don't need an invitation letter anymore so supposedly should be easier to get in. Don't want to play gatekeeper but I'd prefer to keep it private. I don't have much else to say except to be careful at the border (i went in as a 'tourist' which was ok until they searched my bag and found a UN press ID i forgot to take out .. which didn't actually exclude me from entry but did in a roundabout way cause me to have to pay a 'fine' of $15 US to exit the 'country' because they rushed me through a 'special line' without getting proper documents upon entry)... and arrive for the minibusses early unless you like sitting on a 2inch tall stool in the aisle for the 1.5hr ride :P happy to try to answer specific questions via email (easier to get from road than me checking here, unfortunately) Sun, 01 Jun 2008 22:17:58 +0000 http://www.lightstalkers.org/know-anyone-in-transdniestria-#122589
