The speed of the main slideshow was fine second time around - local transmission speeds were slowing it down. I checked some of the stories that interested me and felt I'd like some detail to read on them such as the story on clandestine abortion - that image of the hospital bed with the stirrups and the lights above is chilling. Some of your images - particularly those that shoot into the light framed by darkness - prompted me to think of Marcus Bleasdale and, your book intro made me consider the importance of walking towards the future with one eye on the past... both in terms of personal, and global, history.
