Thu, 31 Jul 2008 13:58:39 +0000 http://www.lightstalkers.org/mediastorm-launches-common-ground#126453 what is most profound about this is not necessarily the uniqueness of the situation--which in itself is undoubtedly remarkable--but the universal thread of land ownership and how people, no matter the culture, relate so much to having that security and possession. it is often times overlooked and under-appreciated how vital such things can be to certain groups of people. the side-by-side frames present such a effective way to communicate the essay, but also, to lend one to imagine other such contrasts across foreign lands. kudos to you scott, for focusing your lens and time on a subject that is experienced a world over. well done.
