Humanity Witnessed: Exhibition by Jean Chung and Shiho Fukada in Seoul

Two Asian female photojournalists - Jean Chung and Shiho Fukada - are having a two-person photo exhibition in downtown Seoul, South Korea, curated by Jean Chung and Park Junga. The venue is the newly-open Canon Gallery in Seoul, and the show is sponsored by Canon Korea Consumer Imaging. The opening is Monday, May 25 until July 10. Jean has selected her work from Afghanistan, and Shiho's from the Sichuan Earthquake, especially on school collapse last year. The two photographers will have a Meet-the-Photographer session for South Korean audience in mid or late-June (TBA). Jean hopes that this exhibit will promote photojournalism in South Korea and beyond; also hopes to introduce other photojournalists in the world to Koreans.
