In order to consolidate our presence in Afghanistan and to maintain and expand our output, we are looking for a SENIOR ANALYST and/or JUNIOR RESEARCHER. The positions are Kabul-based with opportunities to travel inside and outside Afghanistan. Both are international positions. The successful candidate(s) will be joining a small and active team currently consisting of three Co-Directors/Senior Analysts, two national research officers, and a network of members and contributors. The Senior Analyst and/or Junior Researcher will report to AAN's Co-Directors and will be provided with a renewable consultancy contract. Remuneration will depend on experience and skills, taking into account the current AAN salary scales. AAN provides war risk insurance and travel/accommodation costs during official travel.
