The last two VII seminars were both East Coast affairs, which was great for folks on the East Coast, but not so great for our friends in the Mid to West Coast of the Americas. In light of this, we are planning our next seminar for April 2006 at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. This is a prestigious design school with an incredible hillside campus, overlooking the old city of Pasadena. We are honored to host the West Coast VII Seminar there, and look forward to having you join us out here in sunny California. We are still working on the seminar program, but you can expect photographer presentations (showing latest works), more intimate breakout sessions, greater opportunities to meet and talk with the photographers and an expanded portfolio review program*. For those of you in town early, we are also planning an artists’ reception for the Congo exhibition at the Stephen Cohen Gallery on Thursday, April 6th, and a feature film followed by a “VII meet and greet� reception at Art Center on Friday, April 7th. As has been the case for the past two seminars, we have relied strictly on word-of-mouth to get the word out about these events. These seminars sell out very quickly and we invariably get a lot of disappointed people who are not able to attend. This time, we want to be sure that everyone knows about the next seminar as early as possible. So, I would appreciate it if you could let your communities know.
