This is a hugely political issue in Australia and i would like to show both the conditions of refugees in sri lanka their journey and reasons for seeking asylum. Does anybody know any fixers in Sri lanka or any other bits of information that might be helpful. what kind of access is there for foreign journalists to the refugee camps? I am treating this as a reconisence / research trip as i have a assignment starting in Timor leste which will only allow me a week or two in Sri Lanka.
