Bgan for feeding video: explorer 100 or?

Anyone could please advice on what would be a good solution for sending video?
I was thinking about the cheap Explorer 100, but I'm concerned it is not powerful enough, in terms of uploading.
Anyone has experience sending video with it?
Any advice much appreciated.
Thanx.

I am sure you are, but if your going on your own dollar, double check the upload prices etc.

I've been looking at one of these bad boys, a Wideye Sabre 1... same features as the Explorer 100 with a smaller price tag. My question about it is whether it's as well built and reliable as I know something by Thrane and Thrane would be.

Retails for around US$1300.

Does anyone have experience with the Sabre 1?

Looking as well...
My concern is not the costs so much as the upload speed...384kbs. Its going to take a while to send an MP4 file.
Is there a more compressed video file format (my first step into the world of videoo)?
I've seen the military ones...scary fast.

Hahah yeah depends how big your MP4 files are, really. What are you planning to send back? 384kbps is it maximum potential speed, too, which is going to be affected by all sorts of atmospheric conditions, proximity to BGAN satellite, etc, etc...
