Hi there,

I'm wondering which lens I should get as an available-light-lens for my eos 20d. I am going to use the lens for concerts and portrait sessions and I am curious to hear your opinions :)
patrik--you didn't seem to get any opinions. I think it's because it's six one--half dozen the other. The 85 is going to be better for portraits and the 100 is probably a bit better for concerts. I have an 85 (the 1.2L) and I love it on the 20D It's equivalent of a 135mm or so. Very nice length. I have the 100 macro, but rarely use it since I have the 85. Really it's just for macro in my case. I doubt you'd go wrong with either lens. Good luck.
