Libya visa

Anyone has a contact to some media department or other institution in Libya to get a visa for professional journalists (Italian passport)?
International Media Department in Tripoli is not giving any feedback or answers the phone, after posting the media request form.
Thanks

Re: Libya visa

I'll get back with more specific info with a couple of days, but what I can tell you right now is most people I've met here come in on visas that are valid for thirty days, and I know one of the requirements is a letter of invitation which a lot of tourism agencies here issue, but cost money (payable on arrival in the country). I'm not sure what type the visa is but I know it isn't a "journalism visa". As a matter of fact I'm not sure if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs even issues "journalist" visas right now.

I can help you to obtain visa
first there is no “journalist” visas so far there is a press pass ,
you can have :
1- tourist visa
2- mission visa
3- multi-exit visa visa for three months and six months .

if you ask they will tell you that you need invitation letter and etc

but all what you really need is someone who can get you the visa + copy of your passport
you can collect the visa at the airport when you arrive or at the Libyan embassy in your country

it will take between 3 to 7 days
