What an incredible experience to have worked with the great James Longley...I've always wanted to speak with him about style and technique, though as of yet I've not been afforded the oppourtunity.

From what i've seen of his time in Pakistan it continues in the same vein as Iraq and Palestine and I for one would love to know what you thought of your time working with him. What can you tell us of his methodology, his process?

(it may also help with the job search...why you don't use him as a reference is beyond me)

Hello Matthew,

It was 1 of the best experience of mine working with James for like 1 year in Pakistan.

I have Worked with him on 2 different Films and after that i seriously never considered of going to any Film school as i was taught by the 1 of the best Documentary Filmmaker and Teacher.

His Style of Filmmaking is very interesting/Difficult and Time consuming. He wait for the moment and to catch the moment he might have to wait for like few days or weeks or may be months..
