The audio was recorded internally through a jacked-in lavalier. Looking at the mov file now I just noticed that audio is out of sync with video, audio anticipates video by maybe a fraction of a second. Does anybody have any idea on how to fix this? (please take it kindly on me it the answer is "you have to reshoot everything") Any help would be much appreciated... Many thanks! Seperate the audio from the video file and manually re-sync. Seems strange that they would be out of sync, I shoot a lot of video on the mk II and I have never seen this problem. Per controllare l'allineamento delle tracce ti consiglio di analizzare il filmato impostando l'unità di misura della timeline, dai frames al tempo, così da poter aggiustare con accuratezza il sync. I always use it to sync my audio to the video because I record the audio separately. Could it be a playback problem on either an under-powered computer or using an inappropriate NLE or codec? The sound would play back better than the audio... I forgot to mention in my post that I am at reaaaally beginner level on the whole video/audio recording stuff, so maybe it's just lack of experience. The out of camera codec is not optimized for editing. If you have apple computer try to convert the files into 720p or use a better codec like ProRes or Intermediate.
