<description>Ryosuke, please ask your question again.

We recognize that English is not your first language, so we understand. But the language you used in the question is confusing.

Are you looking for recommendations for hotels in Paris for Paris Photo in November 2012?

      <title>Re: Paris Photo</title>
      <description>15th-18th November. http://www.parisphoto.fr/?lg=en

I went last year, highly recommend it if you want to see some great printed works exhibited or you have an interest in buying rare/out of print books.

Some of the exhibitions are wonderful, others a little more challenging. All the exhibitors are in the main hall of the Grand Palais.

A small number of artists/photographers usually attend for book signings. There are a number of events going on outside the Grand Palais, exhibitions (http://www.parisphoto.fr/a-paris-pendant-paris-photo-2012.html) a Zine/Book fair at La Bal etc etc.

There is a ParisPhoto App too if you have an iPhone.

I booked my hotel through www.booking.com but there is a lot of information about hotels, transport etc on the website like above.

Its worth going if you are in or near Paris, but it can be a little pretentious, there's a lot of 'art' buyers and publishers, and access if difficult unless you have some prior introductions. You wont see much in the way of photojournalism or documentary photography, its more of an contemporary/art photography scene.

Try and book your tickets ahead of arrival, otherwise you will stand in line for 2-4 hours to buy a ticket on the day.

Hope this helps.

J.

      <title>Re: Paris Photo</title>
<description>I went in 2010, when it was in the Carrousel de Louvre, and thus smaller. That year it was also oriented to the fine arts buyers (its exhibited images mostly came from high-end galleries around the world), but since that and the PJ scene overlap a bit, it was a useful exercise. Also some of the parallel shows around town were more oriented to the PJ world.

As to lodging, in Paris it can always be scarce when there are a lot of trade shows/tourists/holidays. I usually stay with friends. But two hotels I have used in the past (next door to each other) which are in a good neighborhood (Od&#233;on) and mid-priced (~150-160 EUR per night) are:

Grande Hotel des Balcons
3, rue Casamir Delavigne
Paris 75006
resa@balcons.com
tel: 146347850
Fax: 1 46 34 06 27

Hotel Delavigne
1 Rue Casimir Delavigne
75006 Paris, France
tel: 01 43 29 31 50
http://www.hoteldelavigne.com/

I agree with Jason that booking.com is also a good choice for looking up rates and reviews.

Good luck. I will be in Paris sometime in November, so might be there for Paris Photo.

Best,
Neal </description>
