I'm on pretty tight schedule considering christmas post jam, so I'd like to avoid customs delay as much as possible. Does anybody with experience sending from europe to the us knows how to handle customs declarations, dos and donts? I've read that there is a $200 limit under which even commercial items are considered duty free, is it correct? I sent some photos unmounted a pair of years ago to a friend in NY and I only put photos as a gift. The prints were inside a cylinder. None problem. The question is what happen if you declare them as art or prints for an exhibition. I am curious too about the dos and don'ts.
