      <title>Travel and/or Environment Multimedia Work? </title>
      <description>Hello!

Can anyone recommend me some good travel and/or environment multimedia project?

I am researching for a presentation and I would love to find something interesting and stimulating.

Thanks!

<description>I did some work in Greenland in late 2011, for an Australian environmental group, the Purves Environment Fund... if you'd like to take a look.

      <description>Hi Chiara,

as to the environment aspect the following are &quot;only&quot; films but perhaps they have websites with other material as well; anyway I was really impressed by &quot;Chasing Ice&quot; by Jeff Orlowski which tells about James Balog's project of documenting the glaciers' melting and shrinking, and by &quot;La soif du monde&quot; by Yann Arthus-Bertrand which talks about water.

Other resource for films might be Festival CinemAmbiente's website (www.cinemambiente.it) and through that you perhaps will find authors who have made also multimedia projects.

Cheers,

      <description>Hi Chiara,

Since someone already mentioned &quot;Chasing Ice,&quot; I'd like to recommend &quot;Chasing Water&quot; which is filmed by Peter McBride on the Colorado River (aka &quot; The American Nile&quot;) and what's causing it to dry out...It was a film from the Banff Mountain Film Festival in 2012.

Also from this year's selection are:

&quot;Mountains in Motion&quot;, which used time lapse to show the beauty of our mountain scape

and &quot;Crossing the Ice&quot; about the expedition of two Australians and a Norwegian from the 'shores' of Antarctica to the South Pole...and back

In terms of data and environmental issues, there's a website about tracking the Amazon's health which I think is really intriguing:

Just a couple ideas!
