Sorry I've been out of touch -- I'm the fellow in DC who was interested in that Lumix DMC-LC1.
$750 sounds like a reasonable enough price to me. I'd also pay for shipping.
(All this presumes that you haven't sold it already, of course. Have you?)
And where could one find a replacement lens hood for it, do you think?

You got it Jonathan, it's yours for $750. I actually hate giving it up, it's been a good camera but I'm trying to get enough money together for the canon 5D. As far as the hood goes. I know I looked it up once and found it through (i think) the Panasonic website that it can be ordered, I do believe. But that is the only place I found. It could be on ebay as people sometimes 'part out' their items to make more $$$$ when selling them. How do you want to work out payment/shipping? I've got paypal if that works for you . . . patrick

Hey, Patrick: No, I'm afraid I won't be coming in to New York soon. (In DC now, working and -- to make matters worse -- flu-bugged.) Like I said before, I'm more than happy to pay the price of shipping on top of the $750. Do you have some idea what it might run you, shipping the Lumix, box, papers, et al?
