Saw your photograph in the ReGeneration show last weekend. Very large and striking. It seems to me that your portfolio from Iraq accomplishes your stated aims from your bio. It would be good to see the portfolio in its entirety that size in a specific space suited for it. Has this happened?

Lucas,

thanks for the kind comment.

there hasn't been a monographic show of the whole set, Noorderlicht and the swiss government shows, were of 15 or, but at half size, and the "original" elysee show was of 8, half haiti and half iraq, at the size you saw, which looked much better (like avedon said : if the picture isn't good, blow it up).

Hmmm, that was definitly not the issue with your photo, it worked well at that size. But I know what you mean. There are some mighty large prints out on some walls and some seem to follow the Avedon's quote. By the way I saw an Avedon portrait show at the Met a while back that featured a number of mural size portraits which I had seen previously smaller in scale. They....were....stunning.
