This lecture is a rare opportunity to find out about how documentary photographers are working in other parts of the globe. Tim Hetherington, is a gifted multi-media storyteller and will show his most recent film &#226;&#8364;&#339;Liberia: an Uncivil War&#226;&#8364;? and discuss it afterward.&#194;&#160;
&#194;&#160;Tim Hetherington is a documentary photographer and fimmaker based in Monrovia, Liberia. His photographs from an ongoing project about Liberia are currently on view as part of &#226;&#8364;&#339;Moving Walls 11&#226;&#8364;? group show at the Open Society Institute in New York. Tim was the cinematographer for the film, living with the LURD rebel faction. He has also received a fellowship from the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts, a Hasselblad grant and other awards.
