http://www.lightstalkers.org/posts/milage-points-not-what-they-seem An entire Lightstalkers thread via RSS/XML. en-us hi all, jsut a quick one. i've been looking into a lot of flights lately and of course i want to use the airlines which i have frequent flier milage with, but watch out because many are not giving you 1 pint (ahem point, i wish it where in pints) for each mile you fly. ba for example gives oyu only 25 percent of the miles you fly if you purchase a cheaper discounted ticket, for other carriers it varies, so if oyu think you're going ot be earning a lot of milage for a long flight it may very well turn out that you're getting a fraction of that, from what i've noticed the one world alliance is the worst offender....
