Does anybody have an idea about how to speed things up there? Is there anybody who went through this visa thing recently and can tell me how long it took? Thanks a lot. Christoph. I've used Visa Advisors... I think it's www.visaadvisors.com for a fee, they'll handle applications, and usually for a larger fee, they'll handle them faster. Kinda' like going to Mexico, kinda. have fun......and beware of the hotel Al Fanar, and parked cars... I never got a visa. my visits were pre "handover", so I just rolled across the jordanian border. the first time, it was us soldiers waving us through, the second time there was an iraqi official of some kind stamping passports, but it was just entry and exit stamps, no visas.
