      <title>Inge Morathe &amp; HCB awards deadlines approaching</title>
      <description>Magnum Photos announces the third $5000 Inge Morath Prize to be awarded to a woman photographer under thirty years of age. The prize is designed to assist in the completion of a long term documentary project.

Inge Morath was an Austrian-born photographer who was associated with Magnum for almost fifty years. She died in January, 2002. As Inge devoted much of her enthusiasm to encouraging women photographers, this award is given as a tribute by her colleagues. Support material:

* Send a project description (maximum one page) 
* Between forty and eighty slides in a carousel or on a CD.
* A c.v. (maximum, three pages) including photographer*s name, telephone number, e-mail address, plus shipping and mailing address with return envelope. Send support material to:

Henri Cartier-Bresson Award 
 The Henri Cartier-Bresson Award is presented every two years by the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation. The intention of the Award is to stimulate a photographer*s creativity by offering the opportunity to carry out a project that would otherwise be difficult to achieve.

The Award is intended for photographers who have already completed a significant body of work in a reportage-style approach. Candidates for the Award should be nominated by an institution.

The winner will receive 30,000 Euros, an exhibition at the Foundation within 18 months of the Award ceremony with an accompanying catalogue published. 

The HCB Award is made possible with the partnership of Banque de Neuflize Vie. Institutions or candidates can download the application ffrom the HCB Foundation website:

D&#233;cern&#233; par la Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson, le HCB Award est un prix d* aide &#224; la cr&#233;ation dont l*objectif est de permettre &#224; un photographe de r&#233;aliser un projet qu*il ne pourrait mener &#224; bien sans cette aide.

Il est destin&#233; aux photographes ayant d&#233;j&#224; accompli un travail significatif dans une sensibilit&#233; proche du reportage.

Les candidats doivent obligatoirement &#234;tre parrain&#233;s par une institution qui pr&#233;sente leur dossier.

D*un montant indivisible de 30 000 euros, il est attribu&#233; tous les deux ans. Dans les dix huit mois suivant sa nomination l*Suvre du laur&#233;at sera expos&#233;e &#224; la Fondation HCB &#224; Paris et un catalogue sera publi&#233; &#224; cette occasion.

Le Grand Prix International Henri Cartier-Bresson est rendu possible gr&#226;ce au concours de la Banque de Neuflize et de Neuflize Vie.
