commercial image usage copyright fee

Hi all,

Just seeking expertise regarding commercial usage of images. How to calculate a fee for 1 year usage and 10 year usage and copyright for advertising agencies and commercial campaigns within Australia. Any articles, guidelines or personal experience would be welcome.

Cheers,
Sabine

I've been using fotoquote and fotobiz for years. It has licensing fee's for almost every usage imaginable, along with 'coaches' that help you ajust fee's according to client requests. The Fotoquote stand alone software is $140 but has made me thousands that I wouldnt have known how to price. Good luck and if your ever unsure of what to charge, go high becuase you can never go up after you've chared to little.
