Right on, Chad -- A subject worth talking about.... some of my favorites:

Dreamland BBQ
1427 14th Avenue, South
Birmingham, AL

Rendezvous BBQ
52 South Second Street
Memphis, TN

Arthur Bryant's BBQ
1727 Brooklyn Avenue
Kansas City, MO

God, how I miss some good hog -- North Carolina is sadly lacking in the BBQ department.

this is an important topic, here's a couple of places i love;

Tom Jenkins in Fort Lauderdale, a most if you're in the area.

Virgils, off Time's Square in NYC (can't remember the street), real grilled chicken wings.

Martins BBQ in Country Club (suburb of Rio Piedras) Puerto Rico. Best chicken in the world.

As an NC native I gotta stick up for the BBQ at Bullocks on Hillsborough Rd. in Durham and Allen and Sons in Orange County. It the good vinegar based stuff, no BBQ sauce involved, North Carolina style. But, hey, I grew up on the stuff so I may be a bit biased towards Durham.

Hog Wild's in Bardstown, Kentucky puts crack in their BBQ sauce.

When I left there I had to go to rehab.
