Anyone had this problem?

I have a 5Dmk2, bought in 2009 in toronto. and last week the charger LC-E6E simply died. not working whatsoever, unfortunately I am in London at the moment and as far as I know Canon does not do worldwide warranty.

I brought it to York Camera at Bury Place and all I got was “yep, its broken, I see that a lot with the american chargers” to which I replied, its canadian actually!

I guess I will just have to buy a new charger for £50 (!!!)
