About

Born in Prizren, Kosovo in 1982.
His first interest to photography began with the war in Kosovo. He started working and assisting photographers such as James Nachtwey, Luc Delahaye and Gary Knight decided to stay in photography, especially in photojournalism. After learning the technical side of darkroom and processing studied journalism in Prishtina and followed photojournalism workshop with VII Photo in Provence / France. Ferdi had to wait for more than six years for being in the real photojournalist life. He was one of the first photographers in Express daily newspaper in Prishtina witch was the first working picture desk in Kosovo
Now he is a staff photographer at Lajm daily in Prishtina and freelance for World Picture News, New York and Cosmos, Paris.

Kosovo Photographers Exhibit in Croatia

An exhibition of Kosovo photographers is organized in Zagreb/Croatia by coratian Photographer Filip Horvat and the help from Albanian Union of Croatia. Photographers: Astrit Ibrahimi, Ermal Meta, Ferdi Limani, Fisnik Dobreci, Flaka Kuqi and Samir Karahoda. Exhibition is going to take place in Pravi Put Galery, Runjaninova 3 in Zagreb on 29 May 2008 at 19:30h.
