Ferdinand Haberl

After graduating from school that put special emphasis on multimedia and arts I served in the Austrian Armed Forces and got some experiance in shooting a couple of documentaries abroad. I am doing a MA degree in Documentary Directing at the National Film and Television School at the Moment and focused on human rights issues, war crimes and crisis areas in the films I have shot so far. I have worked in the Westbank (Nablus, Bil’in, Beit Umar and Nil’in), Gaza, Westsahara (Occupied Territories), West Africa (Gambia), Morocco, Oman, Dubai, Bahrain, Kosovo (Pristina, Prizren and Suva Reka – Embedded in KFOR Troops) and England.
I established the FlyingTree Film Productions Company in Liebenfels (Austria) and I am living and working in Beaconsfield (UK) right now.
