Fernanda Preto received her associated dregree in photography from Panamericana School of Arts in Sao Paulo in the year 2000 and graduated in 2005 in Visual Arts at Tuiuti University in Curitiba. She works with travel & outdoors photography and develops personal documentary and conceptual projects. She was selected by the Itaú Cultural Institution for the Mezanino Project of Emerging photographers in 2004 and has her fine art work at the Diana Lowenstein Gallery in Miami, Florida and Galeria Oeste in Sao Paulo. In the year 2005/06 she participate of the exhibition Erotica – the senses in art at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro curated by Tadeu Chiarelli. She now lives and work in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil, working as freelancer for Folhapress, Empório Amazônia Magazine,The State of Amazonas Environment and Sustainable Development Agency, Veja Magazine.
