The Magnum Workshop East London is an exciting seven day event organized with Calumet Photographic to provide maximum photographic growth through progressive daily shooting sessions, led by Magnum photographers Chris Steele-Perkins and Simon Wheatley.

Successful candidates will spend the week based at Wheatley’s East London studio, shooting in and around ‘The New East End’ to create a topical body of work on the regeneration of the area, cumulating in an exhibition at the Calumet Gallery in Euston, London. Participants will also benefit from daily reviews, group critiques, mentoring and editing sessions.

The Workshop is aimed at advanced photographers who will arrive comfortable with their equipment and ready to shoot. Participants will be selected on the basis of portfolios submitted to the lead photographers.
