I can’t imagine doing anything else – what a privilege this is!
For nearly 30 years, my cameras have taken me around the world, covering everything from space shuttle launches and hurricanes, to famine in Haiti and war in the Middle East.
After 15 years of working as a staff photographer for newspapers in Ohio and Florida, I moved to Europe to start my freelance career and was based in Brussels, Belgium from 1999 – 2013.
I recently moved back to the US and am currently based in Tampa, Florida.
I routinely travel globally, on both editorial and corporate assignments. My clients say they appreciate my unique style and ability to consistently capture bold, graphic images in both natural and created light. I approach all assignments with the same dedication and understanding of both the subject and my clients needs.
My photographs have been published in a variety of newspapers, magazines and even a book or two: The New York Times, Financial Times, USA Today, LA Times, The Times of London, Irish Times, The Guardian, Die Zeit, Die Welt, Le Monde, Le Nouvel Observateur, La Tribune, L’Express, Le Figaro, Der Spiegel, Focus Magazine, Manager Magazine, Time, Newsweek, Business Week, Paris Match, F Magazine, Bloomberg News, MSNBC.com and Wired.com, comprise just a few of my publication credits.
Recent corporate clients include: Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard, McKinsey & Co., The Carlyle Group, GE Healthcare, Diebold Inc., Taylor & Ives, American Standard, The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Eli Lilly Europe, Exxon Mobile Europe and the European Commission.
