Ravi Mishra is a fixer, producer, translator and location coordinator based in New Delhi, India.
A native of northern India, Ravi was raised in Mumbai and graduated from the Mass Communication & Journalism program at Manav Bharti University (MBU).
Over the past decade, Ravi has traveled throughout India – urban and rural – and has an understanding of the many languages, cultures and traditions of the country.
Since 2009, Ravi has worked as a full-time fixer/photo assistant and coordinator for photojournalist Daniel Berehulak of Getty Images and other international journalists and photographers.
Ravi’s professional experience spans a range of publications and broadcasts for many of the world’s leading news and information organizations.
Stories coordinated by Ravi have introduced writers, photographers and documentary producers to India’s slums and red-light districts, its unregulated coalmines and secretive e-waste sites. His ability to source issues and nurture contacts has proven invaluable in exploring issue-based stories like child labour.
