a sad, sad day

Nelson, Alan’s right. Think this through. I sold one set of M6s to buy digital but found I couldn’t live without it. Took a beating on repurchasing. That said, it’s not seeing much action these days but I’m keeping up the dream of being able hit the road with only the Leica’s again. In the mean time my Nikon dits are keeping up the fight here in Iraq but it appears to be a loosing battle. Haven’t removed a lens but now have so much dust in them that I’m stuck shooting everything at f4 to avoid the specks. I know my Leica’s would fare better. Alan – I had Sherry do a refurb about a year ago on my early M6 and it came back better than ever. Have fun with it. JLee

If I may interject…I’m looking for a 35 rangefinder after dealing with MF…what are you asking?

Hi Jason and Samantha, I’m asking US$2999, but I will entertain offers. Feel free to contact me via email. Thanks!

Nelson, I agree with Alan. I have an M6 and M3 and can’t imagine why I would ever want to part with them. Using digitial has its moments but using a Leica is a something you never forget when the film is processed and prints done. Think about it. Mikel Flamm, Bangkok, Thailand

Hey Mike- Thanks for the tip in the gear for sale but I dont think I could lay down that much money for gear sight unseen, especially with stores that are close to me here in NY that will give me a warranty. If you are in NYC in the immediate future, let me know. I think you’re better off holding onto your gear now that voigtlander has cheaper outfits that compare well given their pricepoint. Best of Luck

This is probably very old and your M6 is almost certainly gone… is it still for sale?
