Writer and Director of Fotovision, community dedicated to supporting social documentary photographer through workshops with the masters of our time, including Sebastiao Salgado, Don McCullin, Eugene Richards and others. The current book project, “Coal Hollow”, was done in collaboration with Ken Light (www.kenlight.com), who make the images. The photographs and text have been exhibited at Perpignan (2004), ICP (2006), Track 16 (2006) and will be shown at the Southeast Museum of Photography later in 2006. We received a grant from the Open Society Institute to return the work to the people and places where it was created in the form of multi-media kits. It’s been a great project!!

In April, the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego published article about the photojournalist Hansel Mieth in a catalogue for a show called “Breaking the Frame”.
