Foundry Photojournalism Workshop Roomshare?

I just signed up for the Foundry Workshop in Mexico City. Was wondering if anyone wanted to share a room with me. Was thinking of getting into Mexico on the 15th and leaving on the 22nd. I was looking at all the different hotels and the only thing I really need is wifi. Pretty much alright with anything after that. Thanks.

Haha! I can live without wifi! Most of the places I’ve found had it and was planning on doing some blogging while there…But who knows if I’ll even have time! I’m posting a thread to the forum as well. Thanks for your help!

i always thought the joy of a laptop was that you could write your stuff offline and then wonder into a coffee shop and upload.

Hey, Allison

I used to stay in a hotel on the Cinco de mayo, Hotel Juárez, I believe, that was around 200 pesos a night, individual occupancy, central location, (a couple of blocks from Metro _Allende and right off the Zocalo, close to a café de chinos (el café popular, open 24-7). Anyway, it´s an interesting area because there are cheap hotels and more upscale ones right next to each other. The Hotel Washington is right around the corner from Hotel Juárez ( telephone 011 52 55 55 12 69 29), just found the phone number for Juárez. so, I don´t know what they are going for right now, but I kind of like them. Nice flavor, muy defe. Not big on security, but I never had a problem. Watch the maids if you leave stuff around, though. I lost a small portable flashlight, but my camera, slides, and all that stuff were never messed with.

Hope that´s helpful.
