I’m going to Zanskar (in J&K) this February. I’ll be travelling through Delhi domestic airport and Leh airport.

I wonder:

  1st – how much hassle I’ll have to go through  to get hand check for my  (>100 rolls of) film

  2nd – if I can’t get a hand check, how high are they known to crank up the x-ray machines (ie: how many trips can you take before the film is altered)

  3rd – how Delhi airport and Leh airport rate with regard to hard-assness of security x-ray people…

  4th – do you have special tips to talk to security people when asking for film hand checks?
