Friso Spoelstra

My specialities are portrait- and documentary photography.
I studied photography at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam from where I graduated in 1997. Ever since i’ve worked as freelance photographer for various constituents, such as the Dutch daily papers NRC Handelsblad, Trouw and many others.

At the moment I’m working on a documentary about traditional festivals in Europe which will result in a book and exhibition.
