I notice “Fixer” in many of the subject lines for posts recently. I don’t have time to respond to all those requests. It’s great to see so many still using film and I’m sorry you’re having trouble finding fixer in all those places. I prefer the Kodak Rapid Fixer myself. It has a part A and part B. You use both the part A and the hardner part B for film fix. For prints, especially of the archive variety you may want to selenium tone it’s better not to use the Part B hardner. If you cannot find the Kodak fixer the Ilford fixer also works well if that’s all available where you’re located. Good luck to all finding your proper fixer.
