G8 in Hokkaido accomodations

Anyone coming to Hokkaido island, july ‘08, to cover the G8 or for any other reasons?
We re looking for others to share the rent of a house with many rooms in Rusutsu, 100 metres from press centre

I’m in Hokkaido, staying in Asahikawa & Mombetsu (Sea of Ohotsuku). When your work is done, or before, finding time to look at Hokkaido is recommended.
The opposite of war-zones/underdeveloped countries.
Not crowded like Honshu.
Great food, BEST Sushi in Japan…say my Japanese friends.

The Japanese regard Hokkaido as flat. It isn’t.
The roads are great now you can see them as the snow’s just given up.
