Shy Girl

Morrigan McCarthy is an award winning documentary photographer based out of New York City. She is fascinated by capturing the personal histories and desires of individuals and the way those histories and desires overlap to form global impressions and biases.
Morrigan was trained in photography at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and holds a BA from Connecticut College in English Literature. She attended the Eddie Adams Workshop in 2007 and her work has been published in the New York Times and other prestigious publications. Her one true love is black and white 35mm film.
