Tuareg rebellion in Niger

Twelve years after the last peace agreement between Tuareg rebels and the government of Niger the proud nomads of the North are picking up arms again and hoping onto their "technicals" to fight for justice and equal rights. They consider that they are being prejudiced by the mainly black majority in this sub-saharan country. We met them 700 km N.E. of Agadez in the A^>Ir mountains and Tenere desert, not far from the Algerian border.
