The ‘7th km Market’, with 20 thousand dealers, is the biggest open air market of Europe. It is situated 7 km from Odessa. The Market is constituted majorly of containers bought from Black Sea Shipping, a bankrupt shipping company, that had its seat in the port of Odessa and was the biggest company of the world. 45 per cent of the wares that arrive at the port of Odessa finish at the 7th km Market. The containers are rented for approximatively 3 thousand dollars per month. In the market, one can find dealers of every nationality, but mostly Chinese.
